Everpath

Privacy Policy · Last updated: August 2026

Your routes stay on your device. Everpath has no account system, no server, and no analytics. It never uploads your activities, your location history, or anything derived from them.

There is exactly one thing Everpath fetches from the internet: map tiles, the background imagery your routes are drawn on. That is described honestly below, because it is the one place Everpath is not a fully offline app.

What Everpath reads

Everpath draws a map from route data you already have. It gets that data from two places, both on your device:

Everpath only ever reads. It never writes to Health Connect, never modifies your files, and never records new activity — there is no GPS tracking in this app.

Health data

Exercise routes are sensitive data, so to be explicit:

Where your data is stored

In a local database on your device, private to Everpath. It is not backed up to any cloud service by Everpath. Nothing leaves the device unless you explicitly export it yourself.

Internet access — map tiles

Everpath is not a fully offline app, and does not claim to be. To draw the map underneath your routes, it downloads standard map tiles from OpenStreetMap (tile.openstreetmap.org).

What this means in practice:

Tile usage is governed by the tile provider's own policy. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.

Purchases

Everpath Pro is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription, no free trial that renews, and nothing to cancel.

Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. Google handles the transaction and receives the information it needs to do so; Everpath never sees or stores your payment details. Your purchase status is cached locally so Pro keeps working without a connection. Everpath uses no third-party billing or subscription middleman.

What Everpath does not do

No account or sign-up. No servers operated by Everpath. No analytics or telemetry SDK. No crash-reporting SDK. No advertising, and no ad network. No tracking across apps or websites. No profiling. Your data is not sold or shared, because it is never collected in the first place.

Third parties

WhoWhyWhat they receive
OpenStreetMap Map tiles Approximate map area being viewed, plus your IP address. No routes, no identifier.
Google Play App distribution, one-time purchase, optional in-app review prompt Whatever Google Play requires for a purchase. No route or health data.

There are no others.

Permissions

PermissionWhy
health.READ_EXERCISE Read exercise sessions from Health Connect. Optional — the app works without it via GPX import.
health.READ_EXERCISE_ROUTES Read the GPS route attached to those sessions. Without it, sessions have no map data.
health.READ_HEALTH_DATA_HISTORY Read activities older than 30 days. Without it, Health Connect only returns recent data.
INTERNET Download map tiles, and Google Play Billing. Nothing else.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE Detect whether you are online, so the map can fall back to cached tiles.
com.android.vending.BILLING The one-time Pro purchase.

Everpath requests no location permission. It does not track your position — it only reads routes you already recorded elsewhere.

Getting your data out

Export to GPX and full local backup are free features, not Pro ones. Your route history is yours and Everpath will not hold it hostage.

Data deletion

All data is local. Uninstalling Everpath removes it permanently. You can also delete imported routes from within the app at any time, and revoke Health Connect access independently in Health Connect.

Children

Everpath is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. It collects no personal information from any user.
